Unicorn Films

Unicorn Films was formed in the mid 1990s.

In 1994 Coveted Prize” Written filmed and Directed by Aidan Doyle was produced with members of Portmarnock Drama and Musical Society and was awarded one of Britain’s Top Ten Amateur film awards. It also won a drama award at the ‘Guernsey Lily International Film Festival’ 1995.

As one of Britain’s Top Ten Winning entries the same year. It was packaged as part of a nationwide tour of film clubs and film societies throughout Britain.

Aidan continued to Produce and Direct local heritage and historical films such as.

In 2011 Aidan recruited Prize winning Author and Award winning Broadcaster Gordon T Ledbetter to Narrate “York & its Attractions The Inside Story”

“Dublin & its Attractions An Essential Guide”(2013) Presenter/Narrator Gordon T Ledbetter. Filmed/ Produced and Directed by Aidan Doyle for the travel industry in Ireland. It is available in most Dublin Visitor Attractions, Record shops and Book shops.

“York Historic Capital of the North” (2015) Presenter/Narrator Michael Portillo

In 2014. Aidan’s Company Unicorn Films acquired the professional services of Michael Portillo (BBCs“Great British Railway Journeys”-”Great Continental Railway Journeys”) to Present/Narrate “York Historic Capital of the North” currently on general DVD release and for Tv acquisition.

“Ireland Great Visitor Attractions”2016 -2017 Presenter/Narrator Gordon T Ledbetter

The programme was an acquired by Aer Lingus and screened on all international flights in and out of Ireland.durind the Summer and Autumn 2017.
